Hello Dee's Country Kickers:

Classes:  All Classes are meeting this week except- Chardon Seniors

Weekend Dancing:  This coming Sunday, January 27th is a DJ afternoon with Carol Buehner at the Painesville Twp. Park from 2-5PM. Carol plans to play a lot of classic oldies and a mix of our favorite new songs thrown in! See you there!!

Saturday, Jan. 26thCaliber Band is playing out at the Boot from 8-12PM. We plan to get there early 7PM and DJ. Who wants to join us there?

1/13/19  Wow….I am speechless….wanted to send out a super, huge and AWESOME THANK YOU to all of you who came out for our first time doing a Classic Country Night at the Painesville Twp. Park!  It was the best crowd they've had in couple of years.  Classic Country Dancing is alive and well in Northeast, OH!!  Thank you so much to all of you who joined us, thank you instructors who came and everyone for sharing the word!! We plan to do another one and will keep you posted!  

Classic Country Nights:  Thank you to those of you who continue to come out for our  Classic Country Night over at The Boot Saloon in Geneva!  What a fantastic, energetic and fun crowd!!   Be sure to mark your calendars for additional dates in 2019:   Feb 15, March 22,  April 5, May 31, June 28

Tuesday Chardon


6:00-6:45PM   True Beginner Lessons:  This is our first official class for the year.  The plan it to teach 2 to 3 dances.  This is a good class for anyone new.  We do a lot of reviews and all of the dances come back around!

6:45-7:15PM  Open Dancing

7:15PM-8:15PM  Seasoned Beginner Lesson:  Tonight’s featured dance is called Back to the Honkytonk  followed by reviews of:  Hooked on Country, Baby Grace & Too Young  which were dances taught last session.

8:15PM-9:30PM  Intermediate Lesson:  Let’s learn a NEW DANCE called September that I think you will likeSong is by Earth, Wind & Fire

Wednesday at The Boot

7:00-7:30PM  Open Dancing to your requests!  

7:30PM   Lesson-  We will start teaching Gin & Tonic for our newest friends Be sure to practice Straight to Hell, I love a Rainy Night + Double XL. Other dance we are covering are:    Double Shot of Crowne AKA Bartender by Lady Antebellum.  Be sure to practice Red Wagon & Down to the Honkytonk.

8:30 PM Lesson:   Let’s learn/review:  What Makes you Country– Luke Bryan.

12:30—1:30PM  Seasoned Beginner Class:   let’s go over all the dances we have been working on:  Hooked on Country, Tush Push, Watermelon Crawl,  Walking on Air, Back on Texas Time, I got a Woman, A Little Less Traveled, Turtle Waltz, Never Tired of It,  Lonely Drum, King of the Road  and more!! We will be learning a NEW DANCE next week!
